When I was a child, I went on a family trip to Nagasaki š¾.
One of the best memories was soaking in a traditional hot spring with my parents āØļø.
It was my first onsen experience, and I remember the warm steam, the silence, and how my body and mind totally relaxed š§.
Since then, Iāve always loved the peaceful vibe of Japanese hot springs.
Living in Singapore, I sometimes miss that calm feeling.
So when I discovered Joya Onsen Cafe in Jurong, I was thrilled š!
It really feels like a hidden piece of Japan šÆšµ.
You can choose between public and private baths, and even rent a yukata to complete the experience š.
The moment you step inside, the quiet atmosphere and the scent of wood already help you relax.
I chose the public bath, and it was open and spacious ā such a refreshing experience! š
One of my colleagues had tried the private bath before, and he said it was very quiet and relaxing š.

The baths are clean and beautifully designed.
Donāt worry if youāre new to onsen ā just rinse your body before entering, and enjoy the peaceful moment quietly š§.
The staff are friendly and helpful, even if you donāt speak Japanese.
After your bath, head to their peaceful cafĆ© ā.
My favourites are the matcha latte and a small Japanese dessert š”.
You can also try saying āććććØćā (thank you) to the staff ā a fun little practice for your Japanese studies!

Whether youāre into Japanese culture or just looking for a relaxing day, Joya Onsen Cafe is the perfect weekend treat šæš§³.
Try it out ā you might fall in love with onsen too! šøš¬āļøšÆšµ
