Wisteria in Japan

Oh no! You missed the season of sakura in Japan!😱 What to do?

Well fear not, in Japan the end of one flower’s season means the beginning of another.


Once sakura falls, the wisteria’s season comes!

From mid April to mid May, you will be able to see majestic violet curtains of flowers all over Japan!




One such location is Kameido-Tenjin Shrine near Asakusa. During this time of the year, you will be able to explore their gardens full of blooming wisteria and it is breathtakingly beautiful!




Not just that, Tokyo Sky Tree is visible from the garden. So, If you go there at night, you will be able to take a picture of the lit up wisteria and Tokyo Sky Tree!


It really is something you can only see this time of the year!!
